Arclo MCP Server

    Use Arclo from Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or any client that speaks the Model Context Protocol. One URL, sign in with your Arclo account, no API keys to paste.

    Server URL
    https://arclo.pro/api/mcp

    Transport: Streamable HTTP. Auth: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration, so any standard MCP client can connect without pre-registering. When your client asks you to authorize, sign in with your Arclo email and password. Don't have an account? Create one free.

    Claude (web, desktop, or Cowork)
    1. Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
    2. Name it Arclo and paste the server URL above.
    3. Click Connect and sign in with your Arclo account.

    Then ask things like:

    • "Which of my keywords are closest to page one, and what would it take?"
    • "Run a technical crawl on my site and list the fixes worth doing this week."
    • "Score this draft for AI search citability before I publish it."
    • "How many leads came from organic search this month vs last?"
    Claude Code
    claude mcp add --transport http arclo https://arclo.pro/api/mcp

    Run /mcp inside Claude Code to complete sign-in.

    Cursor

    Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or the project's .cursor/mcp.json):

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "arclo": {
          "url": "https://arclo.pro/api/mcp"
        }
      }
    }

    Cursor will open a browser window to sign in the first time you use a tool.

    ChatGPT and other clients

    Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth works the same way: add the URL, authorize, done. If a client asks for a client ID, leave it blank; the server registers clients dynamically.

    Scopes and safety

    Two scopes: read and write. Read tools never change anything. Write tools (adding keywords, starting crawls and scans, submitting sitemaps, writing to the knowledge base) act on your own sites only. Nothing is deployed to a website through MCP; site changes still go through Arclo's normal review flow.

    Tokens expire on their own; to cut off a client sooner, change your Arclo password or contact us.

    Troubleshooting
    • 401 on first call — expected; that's the client discovering the auth server. Complete the sign-in prompt and retry.
    • "Site not found" — call list_sites and use the exact domain or ID.
    • Stale numbers — Search Console data lags Google by 2–3 days; crawl and CWV data are as fresh as the last run. Trigger run_technical_crawl or refresh_serp_rankings when you need current data.
